About Me

In a Nutshell

My name is Abby Roberts and I’m a CPA turned recruiter specializing in the placement for finance and accounting professionals. I have the baby dubbed “everyone’s favorite baby” and the longer you follow me you’ll see why. I’m married to my sweetie, Josh, and we have been BFF since 9th grade.

As a Professional

I went to BYU and got both my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Accounting, after which I became a CPA while working as an accountant. I craved more social interaction than what accounting could offer me and I found my way into a recruiters office. Shortly I became convinced to join his team as a recruiter and never looked back. I now run the team in Utah and absolutely love my job.

Finding Love

By way of happenstance, my last year at BYU I found love in one of my best friends since 9th grade, Josh Roberts. While we were just in the “friend zone”, I had accepted an offer in LA to go work for one of the Big 4 and live an adventure on the beach. However, as fate would have it, a few Utah Jazz games led to love and, well, the rest is history. We got married on September 30, 2011 and find new ways to enjoy each other everyday…when he’s not golfing, that is.

Then Comes the Baby

You know how it goes, first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the
sweetest baby in the whole wide world on August 5, 2014, named Kallie Kay Roberts. I never knew, like really knew, how much I was capable of loving someone. She has so much personality and makes friends wherever she goes and with anyone. She is a constant sunshine and will brighten your saddest day. I love my little Kallie Boo.

So Why This?

I love my baby and I love my job and I want to invite you to come along with us as I am continuously learning how to find the balance in being a mom and a professional.
